A gallery of photos from the Razorbacks’ final game of their 2008-09 season with their 73-58 loss to Florida in the first round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Tampa, Fla.

The Rogers High School boys and girls basketball teams both played in semi-final games on Saturday at the Class 7A State Tournament in Fort Smith. Sadly, the Lady Mounties lost a close one 56-55 to North Little Rock and were eliminated from the tournament. But the Mounties pulled out a big 62-53 win against Conway and will play next week in the State Championship game in Hot Springs. Here is a collage of photos from Saturday’s games.

Arkansas lost their season home finale to Ole Miss on Wednesday night in overtime. It was a sad ending to the Razorbacks’ frustrating season at home. The Hogs still have at least two games left to play before their season is officially over. Vanderbilt on Saturday and the first round of the SEC Tournament next Thursday. Hopefully they can keep things alive and get a couple of wins in the tournament.

A collage of photos from Sunday’s celebration of Arkansas’ 1994 National Championship Basketball Team at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. I spent most of my day at the arena photographing the team, their adoring fans and the celebration during halftime of the Arkansas/Georgia game.

The Razorbacks came out inspired by the presence of the 1994 National Championship Team at Bud Walton Arena and blew out the Bulldogs in front of 19,742 fans at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The win ended the Hogs eight-game conference losing skid.

I had the honor of shooting members of Arkansas’ 1994 National Championship Basketball Team as they coached a group of childen Saturday at the ‘94 Champs Camp Basketball Clinic at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center in Fayetteville. I had a great time covering this event. All of the players, coaches and managers from 1994 team were super cool working with the children. They coached the children like a real coach would, but used an approach that carried a positive message and belief that hard work pays off. The highlight of the event was Coach Nolan Richardson’s talk with the children. The man still has it and could probably coach another team to a national title if he ever decided to come out of retirement.

Arkansas’ losing skid continued Wednesday night against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Razorbacks found themselves behind by 26 points at halftime and couldn’t climb their way back out of the hole. Here is a gallery of photos from the night.

Arkansas had another close game slip away in the final seconds, this time in overtime, on the road against the Gamecocks in Columbia, S.C.

Arkansas dropped another nail-biter on Wednesday night against LSU at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The Hogs lost 72-69 to the Tigers in the final seconds of the game.
