Artists of Northwest Arkansas held an artists' reception July 25 at Arts Center of the Ozarks as part of their 15th annual ANA Art Exhibition. The exhibition will continue through Aug. 7. Northwest Arkansas welcomed on July 29 the first six medical students to matriculate at the new UAMS-NW campus in Fayetteville. The reception included a "wall-breaking" ceremony to mark the beginning of building renovations. ALS of Northwest Arkansas on July 30 for the Walk to Defeat ALS. The walk will be Sept. 26 at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.
