I had an assignment to photographs school kids in outdoor classes at Tanyard Creek Trail in Bella Vista today. While I was waiting, I took a moment and walked down to a secluded part of the creek and stepped out onto a boulder in the middle of the stream. The only sound I could hear was the water rushing across the rocks. Leaves, gold, yellow and green, sailed by. It was nice to see the colors of autumn float by. It’s funny how just a moment of calm beauty can stay with you all day.

Josh, I enjoy seeing your images here and reading about your job off the beaten path. They’re really inspiring to me! Good job to you and all the photographers at The Morning News. –A former coworker
