On reality television shows involving police officers such as Cops, you’ll often see police officers running after suspects. This is because the editors of such shows choose footage based on how dramatic the footage is. Most arrests made by police officers occur without chases. So when you see officers running, it’s unusual. In these photos police were called to a home where someone reported a man with an axe and knife threatening a woman and two small children. When the alleged suspect was spotted behind the home several officers at the front ran to help make the arrest. The officer on the left of the top photograph slipped on the grass as he rounded the corner of the home almost running into the fence seen in the second photo.
