It is definitely a sign of the times that the first entry to this photoblog is actually a video. All week The Morning News has been featuring different All Star athletes in the Sports section, with portraits that were shot Sunday on picture and media day. This video offers a behind the scenes look at what it takes to knock out these player portraits. From the sketch and setup down to the shoot and final product, the scene is at times organized chaos. Throwing in my first attempt at collecting video only added to the frenzy. Fortunately prep sports editor Kurt Voigt and sports reporter Nathan Allen were there to identify players and corral them back to our make shift photo set.
